It is 50 kilometres long and 15 kilometres wide at its widest point.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Salinity<\/strong>: The Dead Sea is <strong>one of the Earth\u2019s saltiest water bodies<\/strong>, almost <strong>ten times saltier than ordinary seawaters<\/strong>. It has a salinity of 34.2%.\n<ul>\n<li>It is the <strong>fourth saltiest body of water <\/strong>in the world, ranking b<strong>ehind Antarctica\u2019s Don Juan Pond and Lake Vanda,<\/strong> and <strong>Djibouti\u2019s Lake Assal.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Dead Sea has <strong>one main inlet (the Jordan River)<\/strong> but <strong>does not have an outlet<\/strong> and so loses its water mainly through evaporation.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>high saline level<\/strong> and the <strong>harsh climate<\/strong> make the lake <strong>devoid of life,except for algae<\/strong> and other microorganisms.<\/li>\n<li>It has a density of 1.240 kg\/L, which makes <strong>swimming in its waters similar to floating.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1<\/strong>: Where is the Sea of Galilee?<\/h3>\n<p>Also referred to as Lake Tiberias, the Sea of Galilee is a large freshwater lake located in the Jordan Rift Valley between the Galilee region and Golan Heights in the northeastern part of Israel, close to its borders with Jordan and Syria.
