The majority (65 per cent) were men.<\/li>\n<li>Governments should establish, implement and enforce policies and regulations that protect outdoor workers from sun-induced skin cancer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>About Non-melanoma skin cancer<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It refers to a group of cancers that develop in the upper layers of the skin.<\/li>\n<li>The main types are\u00a0basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and\u00a0squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).<\/li>\n<li>The main cause\u00a0is ultraviolet light, which comes from the sun and is used in sunbeds.<\/li>\n<li>It is\u00a0more common in older people, but younger people can also get it.<\/li>\n<li>Symptoms\n<ul>\n<li>The main symptom of non-melanoma skin cancer is\u00a0a growth or unusual patch on the skin\u00a0but it&#8217;s most common in areas exposed to the sun, such as head, face and ears neck and shoulders etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Treatment:\u00a0Surgery is the main treatment for non-melanoma skin cancer. Radiotherapy, targeted medicines, photodynamic therapy and chemotherapy are also sometimes used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is Basal cell carcinoma?<\/h3>\n<p>It is a type of skin cancer that originates in the basal cells, which are found in the lowest layer of the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin.
