Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>About PM-KISAN<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a\u00a0Central Sector scheme with\u00a0100% funding from the Government of India.<\/li>\n<li>Objective: The scheme aims to\u00a0supplement the financial needs of the farmers\u00a0in procuring various inputs\u00a0to ensure proper crop health and appropriate yields, commensurate with the anticipated farm income.<\/li>\n<li>It has become\u00a0operational from 1.12.2018.<\/li>\n<li>Under the scheme, an\u00a0income support of 6,000\/- per year in three equal installments will be\u00a0provided to all land-holding farmer families.<\/li>\n<li>The definition of family for the scheme\u00a0is husband, wife, and minor children.<\/li>\n<li>State Government and UT administration will identify the farmer families which are\u00a0eligible for support as per scheme guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0fund will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Exclusion Categories:\u00a0The following categories of beneficiaries shall not be eligible for benefits under the scheme:\n<ul>\n<li>All\u00a0institutional land holders.<\/li>\n<li>Farmer families that belong to one or more of the following categories:.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Former and present\u00a0holders of constitutional posts<\/li>\n<li>Former and present\u00a0Ministers\/ State Ministers and former\/present\u00a0Members of LokSabha\/ RajyaSabha\/ State Legislative Assemblies\/ State Legislative Councils,former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations,\u00a0former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.<\/li>\n<li>All\u00a0serving or retired officers and employees of Central\/ State Government Ministries \/Offices\/Departments and its field units Central\u00a0or State PSEs\u00a0and Attached offices \/Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as\u00a0regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff \/Class IV\/Group D employees)<\/li>\n<li>All\u00a0superannuated\/retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs.10,000\/-or more (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff \/ Class IV\/Group D employees) of above category<\/li>\n<li>All\u00a0Persons who paid Income Tax in last assessment year<\/li>\n<li>Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with Professional bodies and carrying out profession by undertaking practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What are Central Sector schemes?<\/h3>\n<p>Central Sector Schemes are those that are
