{"id":17324,"date":"2023-11-23T07:38:30","date_gmt":"2023-11-23T02:08:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=17324"},"modified":"2025-04-05T03:34:59","modified_gmt":"2025-04-04T22:04:59","slug":"rise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/rise\/","title":{"rendered":"Rapid Innovation and Startup Expansion (RISE)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>About Rapid Innovation and Startup Expansion (RISE)<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The India Australia RISE Accelerator is delivered in\u00a0partnership between CSIRO, Australia\u2019s national science agency, and\u00a0Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), the Government of India\u2019s flagship initiative to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.<\/li>\n<li>This initiative focuses on\u00a0startups and small to mid-sized enterprises\u00a0(SMEs) in India and Australia working on\u00a0circular economy technologies and solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Focus Themes:\u00a0With a focus on Environment and Climate Technology, the program will be tailored to accelerate start-ups working on a range of areas:\n<ul>\n<li>Climate Smart Agriculture<\/li>\n<li>Clean Energy<\/li>\n<li>Circular Economy and Waste Management<\/li>\n<li>Climate Smart Mobility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Over\u00a0the nine-month RISE Accelerator program will help startups navigate early steps in a new region, fast-track connections to the right partners, customers and talent, and build credibility to succeed in international markets.<\/li>\n<li>The accelerator, in its\u00a0first round, will focus on supporting\u00a0startups and SMEs working on technologies and solutions for the\u00a0waste and circular economy<\/li>\n<li>Participating startups may also be eligible for up to\u00a0INR 40,00,000 in non-equity grants.<\/li>\n<li>The future rounds of the accelerator will focus on\u00a0climate smart agriculture, clean\u00a0energy and climate smart mobility.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What is a circular economy?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A circular economy\u00a0means products are designed in such a way that they\u00a0can be used again, or even multiple times, to maximise their value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is Atal Innovation Mission?<\/h3>\n<p>It is the Government of India\u2019s flagship initiative to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country and was set up in 2016.
