{"id":17392,"date":"2026-04-25T12:56:32","date_gmt":"2026-04-25T07:26:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=17392"},"modified":"2026-04-27T13:34:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T08:04:26","slug":"cgtmse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/cgtmse\/","title":{"rendered":"Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) organised the Global Symposium on Credit Guarantees.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was established in <\/span><b>the year 2000.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Objective:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To catalyze the <\/span><b>flow of institutional credit to Micro &amp; Small Enterprises<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (MSEs).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was jointly set up by the Ministry<\/span><b> of Micro, Small &amp; Medium Enterprises<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Government of India, and <\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/small-industries-development-bank-of-india-sidbi\/\" target=\"_blank\">Small Industries Development Bank of India<\/a> (SIDBI).<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Funding:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The corpus of CGTMSE is being contributed by the Government of India and SIDBI in the ratio of 4:1.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Eligible Lending Institutions<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Scheduled commercial banks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Public Sector Banks\/Private Sector Banks\/Foreign Banks) and select <\/span><b>Regional Rural Banks<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC), North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd.
