text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is the principal <\/span><b>tributary of the Krishna <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">River.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both the <\/span><b>Tunga &amp; Bhadra <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rivers <\/span><b>originate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the <\/span><b>eastern slopes of the Western Ghats.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From this starting point, the Tungabhadra River travels a length of <\/span><b>531 km<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> before <\/span><b>joining the Krishna River<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at Sangamaleshwaram <\/span><b>in Andhra Pradesh.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/krishna-river\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Krishna Rive<\/b><strong>r <\/strong><\/a><b>finally ends in the Bay of Bengal.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>locked land<\/b> <b>that lies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the north of the Tungabhadra River <\/span><b>between the Tungabhadra and the Krishna River <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is called the &#8220;<\/span><b>Raichur Doab&#8221;.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is i<\/span><b>nfluenced chiefly <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by the <\/span><b>southwest monsoon.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;
