The damage can lead to symptoms affecting your brain, spinal cord,\u00a0and eyes.<\/li>\n<li>Eventually, the disease can\u00a0cause permanent damage or deterioration\u00a0of the nerve fibers.<\/li>\n<li>MS\u00a0affects women more than men. The disorder is most commonly diagnosed between ages 20 to 40, but it can be seen at any age.<\/li>\n<li>There are\u00a0many possible causes of MS, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Autoimmune disorders;<\/li>\n<li>Infectious agents, such as viruses;<\/li>\n<li>Environmental factors;<\/li>\n<li>Genetic factors;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Signs and symptoms:\n<ul>\n<li>It varies widely between patients and\u00a0depends on the location and severity of nerve fiber damage\u00a0in the central nervous system.<\/li>\n<li>Some people\u00a0have mild symptoms,\u00a0such as blurred vision, and numbness, and tingling in the limbs.<\/li>\n<li>In severe cases, a person may experience\u00a0paralysis, vision loss, and mobility problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Treatment: There&#8217;s\u00a0no cure for multiple sclerosis.
