{"id":17952,"date":"2026-07-14T10:48:31","date_gmt":"2026-07-14T05:18:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=17952"},"modified":"2026-07-14T12:33:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T07:03:08","slug":"pmfme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/pmfme\/","title":{"rendered":"Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme Latest News\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Central Government is considering extending the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme until 2029 owing to its success.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was <\/span><b>launched on 29 June 2020.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>Centrally Sponsored Scheme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that focuses on the <\/span><b>growth and formalisation of micro food units<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> across the country.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scheme is part of the <\/span><b>Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and supports the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/vocal-for-local-initiative\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Vocal for Local vision <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the food processing sector.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It provides financial, technical and business assistance to entrepreneurs for setting up new units or upgrading existing ones.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Financial Outlay &amp;
