In 2012, the state government announced to merging this sanctuary with another national park to include in Tiger Project, now called as Nagzira Navegoan Tiger Reserve.<\/li>\n<li>It comprises Nawegaon National Park, Nawegaon Wildlife Sanctuary,\u00a0Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary, New Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary, and\u00a0Koka Wildlife Sanctuary.<\/li>\n<li>It is\u00a0connected with many surrounding\u00a0tiger reserves like Pench, Kanha, Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Indravati Tiger Reserve etc.<\/li>\n<li>Topography: The topography is\u00a0undulating, and the\u00a0highest point, viz. \u2018Zenda Pahad\u2019 is around 702 m above mean sea level.<\/li>\n<li>Vegetation:\u00a0Southern Tropical Dry Deciduous Forest, which includes dry mixed forests to moist forest type.<\/li>\n<li>Flora: There are 364 species of plants, and the major trees are:\u00a0Terminalia tomentosa, Lagerstroemia parviflora, Anogeisus lotifolia,\u00a0Pterocarpus marsupium, Diospyrus melanoxylon, Ougeinia oogenesis etc.<\/li>\n<li>Fauna: The major wild animals are: Tiger, Panther, Small Indian Civet, Palm Civet, Wolf, Jackal, Wild Dog, Sloth Bear, Ratel, Common Giant Flying Squirrel, Gaur, Sambar, Chital, Four Horned Antelope, Mouse Deer and Pangolin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is a Deciduous Forest?<\/h3>\n<p>A deciduous forest is a type of forest dominated by trees that lose their foliage at the end of the growing season.
