Phil and Ph.D.<\/li>\n<li>The scheme covers all Universities\/Institutions recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as under :\n<ul>\n<li>Central\/State Universities (including constituent and affiliated institutions)<\/li>\n<li>Deemed Universities<\/li>\n<li>Institution fully funded by the State \/ Central Government and empowered to award degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Institutions of National Importance as notified by Ministry of Human Resource Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Scope: The Fellowship will cater to the minority community students pursuing regular and full time research studies leading to award of M.Phil\/Ph.D degree within India only.<\/li>\n<li>This will enable them to be eligible for employment to the posts with M.Phil and Ph.D as pre- requisites, including the posts of Assistant Professors in various academic institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing Agency: UGC will be the nodal agency for implementing this fellowship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is Buddhism?<\/h3>\n<p>It is a faith that was founded by Siddhartha Gautama\u2014also known as \u201cthe Buddha\u201d\u2014more than 2,500 years ago in India.
