{"id":18949,"date":"2025-04-23T06:19:12","date_gmt":"2025-04-23T00:49:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=18949"},"modified":"2025-05-28T15:10:42","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T09:40:42","slug":"kvic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/kvic\/","title":{"rendered":"Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Khadi and Village Industries Commission Latest News<\/h2>\n<p>The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) recently stated that the turnover of Khadi and Village Industries (KVI) surpassed Rs 1.7 lakh crore in the financial year 2025 (FY24- 25).<\/p>\n<h2>About Khadi and Village Industries Commission<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a<strong>\u00a0statutory body\u00a0<\/strong>established under the\u00a0<strong>Khadi and Village Industries Commission Act of 1956.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It is an apex organization\u00a0<strong>under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises,\u00a0<\/strong>with regard to khadi and village industries within India.<\/li>\n<li>The KVIC is charged with the planning, promotion, organisation and implementation of programmes for the\u00a0<strong>development of Khadi and other village industries in rural areas\u00a0<\/strong>in coordination with other agencies engaged in rural development wherever necessary.<\/li>\n<li>At the\u00a0<strong>state level, Khadi &amp;
