{"id":18949,"date":"2026-05-27T11:19:12","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T05:49:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=18949"},"modified":"2026-05-27T13:48:49","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T08:18:49","slug":"kvic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/kvic\/","title":{"rendered":"Khadi and Village Industries Commission"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Khadi and Village Industries Commission Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has achieved a historic milestone in the financial year 2025-26, recording sales of one lakh 87 thousand crore rupees.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Khadi and Village Industries Commission<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>statutory body<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> established under the <\/span><b>Khadi and Village Industries Commission Act of 1956.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Nodal Ministry:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is an apex organization under <\/span><b>the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is charged with the <\/span><b>planning, promotion, organisation and implementation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of programmes for the development of Khadi and other village industries in rural areas.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the <\/span><b>state level, Khadi &amp;
