{"id":19045,"date":"2025-01-11T01:55:35","date_gmt":"2025-01-10T20:25:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=19045"},"modified":"2025-04-05T14:54:54","modified_gmt":"2025-04-05T09:24:54","slug":"project-veer-gatha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/project-veer-gatha\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Veer Gatha"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Project Veer Gatha:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It was <strong>launched in 2021<\/strong> as part of \u2018Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav\u2019 to commemorate India\u2019s 75th year of Independence.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim:<\/strong> The project aims to <strong>raise awareness of Gallantry awardees\u2019 acts<\/strong> of bravery and the life stories of these heroes.<\/li>\n<li>The initiative helps instill <strong>patriotism and civic values in students.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The journey of Project Veer Gatha from Edition 1 to Edition 4 has been inspiring, expanding the reach of the competition across the length and breadth of the country.<\/li>\n<li>It is a joint initiative by the <strong>Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Education.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Project Veer Gatha 4.0 presented a variety of thought-provoking topics for essay and paragraph writing.<\/li>\n<li>Students had the opportunity to write about their chosen role models, particularly focusing on Gallantry Award recipients.<\/li>\n<li>They were also encouraged to explore the inspiring lives of freedom fighters such as Rani Laxmibai, the 1857 First War of Independence, and the significant role of Tribal Uprisings in India\u2019s Freedom Struggle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1: What are the Gallantry Awards?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>They have been instituted by the Government of India to honour the acts of bravery and sacrifice of the officers\/personnel of the Armed Forces, other lawfully constituted Forces and civilians.
