The project was\u00a0entirely funded by the U.S. Department of Defence.<\/li>\n<li>The Israel Air Force was handed over the Sky Dew in 2022.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0system comprises a blimp capable of\u00a0flying at high altitudes with radar\u00a0and detection systems to scan a wide range in any direction.<\/li>\n<li>The radar on the balloon is capable of\u00a0observing at 250 km and\u00a0tracking multiple targets, including low-altitude ones and those in valleys.<\/li>\n<li>It can\u00a0carry 7,000 pounds and has an\u00a0operational altitude of 10,000 feet.<\/li>\n<li>It offers a significant advantage in its\u00a0ability to remain in surveillance for extended periods without needing fuel or crew replacement.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is a RADAR?<\/h3>\n<p>RADAR stands for Radio Detection and Ranging System. It is basically an electromagnetic system used to detect the location and distance of an object from the point where the RADAR is placed.
