Some species had tooth batteries similar to those of hadrosaurs and ceratopsian dinosaurs.<\/li>\n<li>Rebbachisaurids were very\u00a0important dinosaurs in Cretaceous ecosystems and\u00a0disappeared in the middle of this period\u00a0in an extinction event that took place 90 million years ago.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>It is\u00a0one of the last rebbachisaurids.<\/li>\n<li>Features of Sidersaura marae:\n<ul>\n<li>It was up to\u00a020 m in length, had an estimated mass of 15 tons, and had a\u00a0very long tail.<\/li>\n<li>One of the characteristics that distinguishes Sidersaura marae from other dinosaurs is the\u00a0star-shaped shape of the hemal arches (tail bones).<\/li>\n<li>Its\u00a0skull bones are robust,\u00a0unlike those of the rest of its closest relatives.<\/li>\n<li>Another cranial feature that differentiates Sidersaura marae from other rebbachisaurids is its\u00a0frontoparietal foramen, which is basically a hole in the roof of the skull.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What are sauropods?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Sauropods are any\u00a0member of the dinosaur subgroup Sauropoda, marked by their\u00a0large size, a long neck and tail, a four-legged stance, and an herbivorous diet.<\/li>\n<li>They were the\u00a0largest of all dinosaurs and the largest land animals that ever lived.<\/li>\n<li>Geographically, these\u00a0animals were widespread, with remains in the form of bones or footprints having been found on all of the continents\u00a0except Antarctica.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is the Cretaceous epoch?<\/h3>\n<p>The Cretaceous is a geological period that began 145 million years ago and ended 66 million years ago. It is the last period in the Mesozoic Era. It comes after the Jurassic Period and before the Paleogene &#8211; the first period of the Cenozoic Era, our current era.
