{"id":19314,"date":"2024-01-14T07:57:59","date_gmt":"2024-01-14T02:27:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=19314"},"modified":"2025-04-05T16:41:25","modified_gmt":"2025-04-05T11:11:25","slug":"tmt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/tmt\/","title":{"rendered":"Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>About Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT)<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It has been conceived as a 30-metre diameter\u00a0primary-mirror optical and infrared telescope that will enable\u00a0observations into deep space.<\/li>\n<li>It is proposed as a\u00a0joint collaboration involving institutions in the\u00a0U.S., Japan, China, Canada, and India.<\/li>\n<li>It will be the world\u2019s most advanced and capable ground-based optical, near-infrared, and mid-infrared observatory.<\/li>\n<li>It will integrate the latest innovations in precision control, segmented mirror design, and adaptive optics.<\/li>\n<li>At the heart of the telescope is the segmented mirror, made up of\u00a0492 individual segments.
