Middle India has dual purpose animals while southern India has the Mysuru-type animal, mostly used for draught purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Maharashtra has the Killari, Karnataka has the Amrit Mahal and the Hallikar.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Tamil Nadu: Pulikulam, Umbalachery, Kangayam Bargur and Alambadi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is Jallikattu?<\/h3>\n<p>It is also known as eru thazhuvuthal and ma\u00f1cuvirattu. The bull-taming sport is popular in Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Theni, Pudukkottai and Dindigul districts \u2014 known as the Jallikattu belt.
