{"id":19620,"date":"2024-01-21T05:22:51","date_gmt":"2024-01-20T23:52:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=19620"},"modified":"2025-04-05T18:48:15","modified_gmt":"2025-04-05T13:18:15","slug":"snp-upsc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/snp-upsc\/","title":{"rendered":"Sultanpur National Park (Haryana)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>About Sultanpur National Park<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Formerly known as\u00a0Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary, it spans\u00a01.42 sq km consisting primarily of\u00a0marshy lakes\u00a0and\u00a0floodplains.<\/li>\n<li>Location: The Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is located in the Gurgaon district of Haryana,\u00a046 km from Delhi.<\/li>\n<li>Ramsar Site: It was recognised as a Ramsar site, a wetland of international importance in\u00a02021.<\/li>\n<li>Biodiversity: The vegetation is characterized by tropical and dry deciduous types such as\u00a0grasses, dhok, khair, tendu, jamun, neem, berberis,\u00a0and\u00a0species of Acacia.\n<ul>\n<li>Over 320 bird species have been recorded at Sultanpur, making it a vital wintering ground.
