Lok Sabha about the PM-YASASVI Scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About PM-YASASVI Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PM-YASASVI (<\/span><b>Prime Minister Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) umbrella scheme.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is aimed at uplifting students from <\/span><b>Other Backward Classes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (OBC), <\/span><b>Economically Backward Classes (EBC), and Denotified Tribes (DNT)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by providing them with access to quality education during their formative years.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Objective:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To reduce financial barriers and promote inclusive, equitable and quality education for eligible students from these communities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Eligibility:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Students from<\/span><b> OBC, Economically Backward Classes (<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EBC), and <\/span><b>DNT students<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with family income up to Rs 2.5 lakh per annum are eligible for this scheme.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It <\/span><b>comprises four major scholarship components<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> designed to support students at different stages of education.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These include the <\/span><b>Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Top Class Education in Schools Scheme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Top Class Education in Colleges Scheme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for eligible students belonging to <\/span><b>OBC,
