{"id":20201,"date":"2026-01-27T12:38:02","date_gmt":"2026-01-27T07:08:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=20201"},"modified":"2026-01-27T15:17:40","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T09:47:40","slug":"sepahijala-wildlife-sanctuary-swl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/sepahijala-wildlife-sanctuary-swl\/","title":{"rendered":"Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Tripura Forest Minister recently announced that the state has received over Rs 57 crore for the modernization and further development of the Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary in the Sepahijala district.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is located around 25 km from Agartala, <\/span><b>Tripura<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is divided into <\/span><b>five sections<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, basically to <\/span><b>segregate the different types of animals<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> living here.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They are the <\/span><b>carnivore section<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>primate <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">section, <\/span><b>ungulate <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">section, <\/span><b>reptile <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">section, and <\/span><b>aviary <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">section.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It also has <\/span><b>two natural lakes, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">namely <\/span><b>Abasarika and Amrit Sagar.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Clouded Leopard National Park<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, established in 2007, is a<\/span><b> part of SWL.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Vegetation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: <\/span><b>Moist deciduous forest<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Flora<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has 456 plant species.
