Anyone can take part in the Great Backyard Bird Count, from beginning\u00a0bird watchers to experts. One\u00a0can participate from his\/her backyard, or\u00a0anywhere in the world.<\/li>\n<li>Significance: Each checklist submitted during the GBBC\u00a0helps researchers\u00a0at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society\u00a0learn more about how birds are distributed across the country\u00a0and how they are affected by changes in habitat and weather.<\/li>\n<li>India and GBBC:\n<ul>\n<li>Indian birders have\u00a0participated in the GBBC since 2013.<\/li>\n<li>In India, GBBC is\u00a0coordinated by the Bird Count India (BCI) collective, a coming-together of a number of groups and organisations that are interested in birds, nature, and conservation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is BirdLife International?<\/h3>\n<p>BirdLife International is a global Partnership of over 100 national conservation organisations with a focus on birds and working together on shared priorities, policies and programmes of conservation exchanging skills, achievements and information, and so growing in ability, authority and influence.
