The hydrogen can also be extracted for use in fueling a hydrogen economy.<\/li>\n<li>Benefits of coal Gasification\n<ul>\n<li>Coal gasification can help address\u00a0local pollution problems.<\/li>\n<li>It is considered a cleaner option compared to the burning of coal.<\/li>\n<li>It will help in reducing reliance on imports of natural gas, methanol, ammonia and other essential product.<\/li>\n<li>This holds the potential to alleviate the environmental burden by reducing carbon emissions and fostering sustainable practices, contributing to India\u2019s global commitments towards a greener future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is Coal ?<\/h3>\n<p>It is a sedimentary deposit composed predominantly of carbon that is readily combustible.
