style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A recent report released by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), projects that inflation in developing economies in the region will climb to 4.6 per cent in 2026, up from 3.5 per cent in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is the most inclusive <\/span><b>intergovernmental platform<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the Asia-Pacific region.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was <\/span><b>established in 1947.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Mandate:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To promote economic and social development in the Asian and Pacific region by fostering cooperation between its members and
