{"id":21324,"date":"2024-03-07T05:06:05","date_gmt":"2024-03-06T23:36:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=21324"},"modified":"2025-04-06T11:23:31","modified_gmt":"2025-04-06T05:53:31","slug":"niti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/niti\/","title":{"rendered":"NITI For States\u2019 Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>About NITI For States\u2019 Platform<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a\u00a0cross-sectoral knowledge platform designed to become a\u00a0Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) for Policy and Good Governance.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0significant features of the platform include\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0multi-sectoral live repository of 7,500 Best Practices, 5,000 Policy documents, 900+ datasets, 1,400 data profiles, and 350 NITI publications.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0knowledge products on the platform span 10 sectors including Agriculture, Education, Energy, Health, Livelihoods and Skilling, Manufacturing, MSME, Tourism, Urban, Water resources &amp; WASH across two cross-cutting themes &#8211; Gender and Climate Change.<\/li>\n<li>The platform is an intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows users to easily navigate; and it is\u00a0accessible through multiple devices\u00a0including mobile phones.<\/li>\n<li>This platform will facilitate\u00a0the digital transformation of governance by equipping government officials with robust, contextually relevant, and actionable knowledge and insights, thereby enhancing the quality of their decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>It will also support cutting-edge level functionaries like district collectors and block-level functionaries by giving them\u00a0access to innovative best practices across various States and UTs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What is \u2018Viksit Bharat Strategy Room?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is an interactive space where users will be able to\u00a0visualise data, trends, best practices and policies in an immersive manner allowing them to make a holistic assessment of any problem statement.<\/li>\n<li>It also allows user to interact through voice-enabled AI, and connect to multiple stakeholders through video conferencing.<\/li>\n<li>It is designed to be a\u00a0plug-and-play model to enable replication by states, districts and blocks.<\/li>\n<li>Various government organizations have collaborated in this initiative by NITI Aayog.<\/li>\n<li>It includes\u00a0iGOT Karmayogi bringing online training modules called \u201cSAMARTH\u201d which can be accessed by the platform.<\/li>\n<li>NITI Aayog\u2019s\u00a0National Data and Analytics Platform\u00a0(NDAP) has been integrated to give access to government data sets;<\/li>\n<li>National E-Governance Division (NeGD) has extended support to\u00a0develop the first-of-its-kind Viksit Bharat Strategy Room while multi-lingual support has been provided by the Bhashini.<\/li>\n<li>PM Gatishakti BISAG-N team, with the support of DPIIT, has also been integrated providing for the geospatial tool for Area Based Planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is Digital public infrastructure (DPI)?<\/h3>\n<p>It is a shared means to many ends. It is a critical enabler of digital transformation and is helping to improve public service delivery at scale.
