They could even be simply driven into an area and detonated.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0explosive yield of tactical nuclear weapons can\u00a0range from under one kiloton to about 100 kilotons, whereas strategic nuclear weapons can have a yield of up to one thousand kilotons.<\/li>\n<li>Delivery systems for tactical nuclear weapons also tend to\u00a0have shorter ranges,\u00a0typically under 310 miles\u00a0(500 kilometres), compared with strategic nuclear weapons, which are typically designed to cross continents.<\/li>\n<li>They are the\u00a0least-regulated\u00a0category of nuclear weapons covered in arms control agreements.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Countries possessing TNWs:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Nine countries have tactical nuclear weapons, according to the Federation of American Scientists.<\/li>\n<li>They are\u00a0Russia, the\u00a0United States, China, France, the\u00a0United Kingdom,\u00a0Pakistan, India, Israel, and\u00a0North Korea.<\/li>\n<li>Russia has a stockpile of an\u00a0estimated 2,000 tactical nuclear missiles.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0U.S. has an estimated 200 tactical nuclear bombs, half of which are at bases in Europe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What are Nuclear weapons?<\/h3>\n<p>A nuclear weapon is a device that uses a nuclear reaction to create an explosion.
