{"id":22144,"date":"2024-04-04T05:55:59","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T00:25:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=22144"},"modified":"2025-04-06T17:43:24","modified_gmt":"2025-04-06T12:13:24","slug":"sainik-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/sainik-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"Sainik Schools"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>About Sainik Schools:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>These are\u00a0<strong>residential schools<\/strong>\u00a0for students, providing Public School Education which are affiliated to\u00a0<strong>Central Board of Secondary Education<\/strong>\u00a0(CBSE), New Delhi.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding:<\/strong>\u00a0These schools are funded by\u00a0<strong>Central and State governments.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The scheme to establish Sainik Schools\u00a0<strong>was introduced in 1961<\/strong>\u00a0with the primary aim of preparing students academically, physically and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy.<\/li>\n<li>These schools are under the overall governance of\u00a0<strong>Sainik Schools Society\u00a0<\/strong>(registered under\u00a0<strong>Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860<\/strong>) Ministry of Defence.
