It quickly <strong>became the preferred choice of metal<\/strong>, replacing the use of bronze <strong>in metalworking.<\/strong> The use of iron brought important changes to people\u2019s lives.<\/li>\n<li>Ironwork <strong>first began in Turkey<\/strong> before spreading to other European countries.<\/li>\n<li>People <strong>used iron to make strong tools<\/strong>, which <strong>made farming easier<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Farmers used an \u2018ard\u2019<\/strong> (an <strong>iron plow<\/strong>) during the Iron Age to turn over their fields.
