The fake signals over-ride the genuine satellite signals using specialised hardware or software.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since GPS satellite signals are weaker, the receiver considers the amplified spoofed signals as authentic.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It involves <\/span><b>sending a fake signal to an aircraft<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that the onboard computers believe is real.
