lynx.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Iberian Lynx<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>carnivore <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">species <\/span><b>endemic to Europe.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Appearance:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is the world\u2019s most endangered and known for its <\/span><b>pointy ears<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, long legs and leopard-like spotted fur.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This species, like other cat species, is <\/span><b>sexually dimorphic,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with males being heavier and longer than females.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This lynx is <\/span><b>generally nocturnal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and its activity patterns are closely synchronized with those of their major prey, the rabbit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Habitat:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It requires variable terrain below 1300 m, containing a mosaic of closed <\/span><b>Mediterranean scrubland interspersed<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with open patches of grassland, often with marsh ecotones.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Distribution:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Iberian lynx are found only in two small areas of <\/span><b>southwest Spain<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the Iberian Peninsula, west of <\/span><b>the Pyrenees mountains.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Threats:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> These are related to human activities, such as poaching and habitat
