{"id":24640,"date":"2025-10-27T05:25:19","date_gmt":"2025-10-26T23:55:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=24640"},"modified":"2025-10-28T13:26:51","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T07:56:51","slug":"esankhyiki-portal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/esankhyiki-portal\/","title":{"rendered":"eSankhyiki Portal"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>About eSankhyiki Portal:\u00a0<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It provides <strong>real-time inputs for planners<\/strong>, policy-makers, researchers and the public at large.<\/li>\n<li>The objective of this portal is to establish a <strong>comprehensive data management<\/strong> and sharing system for ease of dissemination of official statistics in the country.<\/li>\n<li>It has two modules namely:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Data Catalogue Module:<\/strong> This module catalogues the major data assets of the Ministry at one place for ease of access.<\/li>\n<li>It allows users to search within datasets, including within tables, and download data of interest to increase its value and re-usability.<\/li>\n<li>The module has <strong>seven data products<\/strong>, namely <strong>National Accounts Statistics<\/strong>, <strong>Consumer Price Index,Index of Industrial Production<\/strong>, <strong>Annual Survey of Industries, Periodic Labour Force Survey<\/strong>, Household Consumption Expenditure Survey and Multiple Indicator Survey.<\/li>\n<li>The Data Catalogue section already includes over <strong>2291 datasets<\/strong> along with specific metadata and visualization for each dataset for user convenience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Macro Indicators Module:<\/strong> This module offers time series data of <strong>key macro indicators <\/strong>with features for filtering and visualizing data enabling ease of access for the users.<\/li>\n<li>The module also allows users to download custom datasets, visualizations and sharing them through APIs, thereby increasing the re-usability of data.<\/li>\n<li>The first phase of the module includes four major products of MoSPI: National Accounts Statistics, <strong>Consumer Price Index<\/strong>, Index of Industrial Production, and Annual Survey of Industries, encompassing the data of last ten years.
