These mutations <strong>contribute to unique athletic characteristics and traits.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>On average, 66 percent of differences in athlete status<\/strong> can be <strong>explained by genetic factors,<\/strong> with the remaining shaped by environmental factors such as practice, nutrition, birthplace, and the availability of medical and social support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1<\/strong>: What is a Chromosome?<\/h3>\n<p>A chromosome is a thread-like structure made of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and associated proteins found in the nucleus of eukaryotic cells.
