It has a curb weight of 13,700 kg and can carry a payload of 2,000 kg.<\/li>\n<li>It has a maximum<strong> road speed of 100 km\/h<\/strong> and a <strong>range of up to 1,000 km <\/strong>without refueling.<\/li>\n<li>The vehicle accommodates <strong>two crew members<\/strong> and <strong>eight fully equipped troops.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The hull features four side doors and a rear door. The roof is fitted with two hatches for observation, firing, and emergency exit purposes.<\/li>\n<li>It can <strong>withstand the impact of <\/strong>8 kg TNT explosion under the floor and <strong>10kg TNT explosion under the wheels.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The vehicle also features a <strong>signature reduction packag<\/strong>e, an all-around video surveillance system, and an automatic fire-extinguishing unit.<\/li>\n<li>It is fitted with a stabilised <strong>remotely controlled weapon statio<\/strong>n (RCWS). The RCWS can be <strong>armed with medium-to-heavy machine guns<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1<\/strong>: What is the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)?<\/h3>\n<p>It is one of the Central Armed Police Forces of India. The ITBP is responsible for guarding the India-China border, stretching over 3,488 km from the Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh. Apart from this, the Force also has important roles in many internal security duties and operations against Left Wing Extremism in the state of Chhattisgarh.
