Flavonoids have antioxidant properties, while saponins help lower cholesterol levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Applications<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>It was used to develop\u00a0<strong>anti-diabetic drug BGR-34<\/strong>\u00a0by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1: What is Insulin?<\/h3>\n<p>It is a hormone that regulates blood glucose.
