{"id":26276,"date":"2026-08-12T12:13:26","date_gmt":"2026-08-12T06:43:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=26276"},"modified":"2026-08-12T13:20:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-12T07:50:11","slug":"namibia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/namibia\/","title":{"rendered":"Namibia"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Namibia Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Fourth Session of the India-Namibia Joint Trade Committee (JTC) was held in New Delhi.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Namibia<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Location:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is located on the southwestern coast of the <\/span><b>African continent.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Bordering Countries:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 It is bounded by <\/span><b>Zambia and Angola<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the north, <\/span><b>South Africa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the east and south, and <\/span><b>Botswana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the east.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A small stretch of the <\/span><b>Zambezi River<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> separates <\/span><b>Namibia from Zimbabwe.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Water Bodies:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The <\/span><b>Atlantic Ocean<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> borders it to the west.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Geographical Features of Namibia<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Topography:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Namibia\u2019s extent can be divided into three topographic zones from west to east: <\/span><b>the Namib Desert, the Central Plateau, and the Kalahari.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Central Plateau<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the west with the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/kalahari-desert\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Kalahari Desert<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> located further inwards.
