{"id":26373,"date":"2026-02-05T10:00:04","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T04:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=26373"},"modified":"2026-02-05T15:56:52","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T10:26:52","slug":"samridh-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/samridh-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"SAMRIDH Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>SAMRIDH Programme Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology informed the Lok Sabha about the SAMRIDH Programme.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About SAMRIDH Programme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and Growth<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (SAMRIDH) is a flagship programme of the <\/span><b>Ministry of Electronics &amp; IT (MeitY).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Aim:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It aims to support <\/span><b>existing and upcoming Accelerators<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to select and accelerate potential IT-based startups to scale.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among others, the <\/span><b>program focuses on accelerating the startups<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by providing customer connect, investors connect and connect to international markets.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Support:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The program supports <\/span><b>300 tech Start-Ups in 3-year duration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with cohort size of 5-10 StartUps.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the first round of cohort, 22 Accelerators spread across 12 states are supporting 175 startups, selected through a multilevel screening process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Financial Support: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It provides financial support <\/span><b>of \u20b92 lakh per startup<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to selected accelerators, along with matching funding to <\/span><b>startups up to a maximum of \u20b940 lakh.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Implementation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is being implemented <\/span><b>by MeitY Start-up Hub<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (MSH), Digital India Corporation (DIC).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:<\/b> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2223047&amp;reg=3&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SAMRIDH Programme is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Electronics &#038; IT (MeitY).
