{"id":26373,"date":"2026-08-13T11:00:04","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T05:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=26373"},"modified":"2026-08-13T14:22:06","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T08:52:06","slug":"samridh-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/samridh-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"SAMRIDH Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>SAMRIDH Programme Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology informed the Rajya Sabha about the SAMRIDHA Programme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About SAMRIDH Programme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and Growth<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (SAMRIDH) is a flagship programme of the <\/span><b>Ministry of Electronics &amp; IT (MeitY).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Aim:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It aims to <\/span><b>support existing and upcoming Accelerators<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to select and accelerate potential <\/span><b>IT-based startups to scale.\u00a0<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It focuses on accelerating the startups by providing customer connect, investors connect and connect to international markets.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Target:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The program supports <\/span><b>300 tech Start-Ups in 3-year<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> duration with cohort size of 5-10 StartUps.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the first round of cohort, 22 Accelerators spread across 12 states are supporting 175 startups, selected through a multilevel screening process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Financial Assistance:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It provides financial <\/span><b>support of \u20b92 lakh per startup<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to selected accelerators, along with matching funding to <\/span><b>startups up to a maximum of \u20b940 lakh.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Implementation: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is being implemented by <\/span><b>MeitY Start-up Hub (MSH),<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Digital India Corporation (DIC).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Nodal Ministry:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ministry of Electronics &amp; IT<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2298115&amp;reg=48&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SAMRIDH Programme is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Electronics &#038; IT (MeitY).
