{"id":26525,"date":"2025-07-18T10:30:33","date_gmt":"2025-07-18T05:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=26525"},"modified":"2025-07-18T13:10:24","modified_gmt":"2025-07-18T07:40:24","slug":"trade-connect-e-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/trade-connect-e-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"Trade Connect ePlatform"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Trade Connect ePlatform Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, participated in two major B2B trade exhibitions this month to enhance awareness and adoption of the Trade Connect ePlatform.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Trade Connect ePlatform<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>new digital initiative<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> aimed at transforming the landscape of <\/span><b>international trade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for Indian <\/span><b>exporters, especially MSMEs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Medium, Small and Medium Enterprises).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an initiative of the <\/span><b>Directorate General of Foreign Trade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (DGFT) under the Ministry of Commerce &amp; Industry.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of Trade Connect ePlatform<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It serves as a comprehensive hub of <\/span><b>information and services on international trade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for all stakeholders.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will <\/span><b>connect Indian Exporters<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, MSMEs and Entrepreneurs with various stakeholders including <\/span><b>Indian Missions Abroad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Export Promotion Councils, and other Partner Government Agencies.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The platform will provide information on trade events taking place in different parts of the world, benefits available due to India\u2019s Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and other international trade-related information and data.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It provides <\/span><b>latest and updated information<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on <\/span><b>tariffs, certifications, trade events<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, eCommerce, and buyers in a simplified manner to MSMEs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interactive courses to introduce MSMEs to <\/span><b>exports &amp; related procedures<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> across multiple languages are also provided.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It also serves <\/span><b>a single point of issuance and validation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for preferential and non-preferential certificates of origin through a secure, electronic, paperless issuance process with all authorised issuing agencies being present on the platform.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The platform, developed in collaboration with key partners including <\/span><b>the Ministry of MSME, EXIM Bank, Department of Financial Services<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (DFS), and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2145471\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><b>PIB<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Trade Connect e-Platform is a digital initiative to boost international trade for Indian exporters, especially MSMEs, by offering market insights, networking, and support.
