<\/span><b>launched in September 2018.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is aimed at strengthening the <\/span><b>implementation of Minimum Support Price<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (MSP) and ensuring remunerative prices for farmers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Components of Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Price Support Scheme (PSS)<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It ensures <\/span><b>procurement of crops at MSP<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> when market prices fall <\/span><b>below MSP during harvest.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It <\/span><b>mainly covers pulses, oilseeds, and copra.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Procurement is carried out through agencies such as the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) and the
