Under this initiative Coventry University acts as the delivery partner.<\/li>\n<li>To promote a more equitable distribution of leadership opportunities and enable a workplace culture that recognises female leaders, this programme is underpinned by <strong>three foundational pillars:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Intersectionality or understanding of different aspects of women\u2019s identities<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collaborative culturally sensitive approaches<\/strong> that respond to opportunities and challenges in India<\/li>\n<li>Using leadership theory from both <strong>social science and STEM to support female<\/strong> scientists to become more confident about their leadership abilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What is UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI)?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is the UK and India\u2019s flagship <strong>bilateral collaboration programme<\/strong> on education and research founded in 2006.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objective:<\/strong> By strengthening education and research collaboration between the UK and India, UKIERI helps both countries to achieve their knowledge ambitions.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>UKIERI has been implemented in <strong>three phases from 2006 to 2022<\/strong>. The fourth phase of UKIERI was launched in 2023.<\/li>\n<li>UKIERI Phase 4 expects to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the UK and India in the areas of education, research, and innovation, while addressing shared global challenges and promoting sustainable development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1: What is the I-STEM Initiative?<\/h3>\n<p>I-STEM (Indian Science, Technology, and Engineering facilities Map) is an initiative of the Office of Principal Scientific Advisor, Government of India.
