The <strong>wings<\/strong> are <strong>green-brown<\/strong> with many yellow spots.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>bright warning colours keep away predators,<\/strong> and <strong>their defence<\/strong> when disturbed <strong>includes the ejection of a toxic foam<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>This species can also make a <strong>sharp rasping voice.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The movement of this species is slow, which makes them easily caught.<\/li>\n<li>It jumps in low and <strong>doesn\u2019t fly.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It is an <strong>herbivore<\/strong> (folivore) insect that eats leaves of the host tree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1<\/strong>: What is a grasshopper?<\/h3>\n<p>Grasshopper is any of a group of jumping insects (suborder Caelifera) that are found in a variety of habitats.
