{"id":27561,"date":"2024-10-26T04:04:02","date_gmt":"2024-10-25T22:34:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=27561"},"modified":"2025-04-08T10:37:30","modified_gmt":"2025-04-08T05:07:30","slug":"bhu-aadhaar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/bhu-aadhaar\/","title":{"rendered":"Bhu-Aadhaar"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Bhu-Aadhaar:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bhu-Aadhaaris also known as <strong>Unique Land Parcel Identification Number<\/strong> (ULPIN).<\/li>\n<li>ULPIN was <strong>launched in 2021<\/strong> as part of the Central government\u2019s Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP).<\/li>\n<li>It aims to streamline and bring uniformity to the process adopted by states in assigning unique identification numbers to land parcels.<\/li>\n<li>It is accorded to a land parcel based on the <strong>longitude and latitude coordinates<\/strong> of the land parcel and depends on detailed surveys and geo-referenced cadastral maps.<\/li>\n<li>Under this initiative a <strong>14-digit alpha-numeric identity<\/strong> is given to each land parcel.\n<ul>\n<li>It contains State code, District code, Sub-district code, Village code and aUnique plot ID number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Once the ULPIN or Bhu-Aadhaar is generated, it is stamped on the physical land record document held by the owner.<\/li>\n<li>The same ULPIN will be permanently attached to the plot of land. Even if the land is transferred, sub-divided, or undergoes any change, the <strong>ULPIN will remain the same<\/strong> for that geographic boundary.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Key objectives of ULPIN\/Bhu-Aadhaar are<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>To assign a unique ID to each plot of land for easy <strong>identification and retrieval of records.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>To create accurate digital land records with details of land owners, plot boundaries, area, usage, etc.<\/li>\n<li>To link land records and property registration processes<\/li>\n<li>To facilitate online delivery of land record services<\/li>\n<li>To assist in government planning by maintaining updated land data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/theprint.in\/india\/governance\/3-years-on-30-of-rural-land-parcels-have-bhu-aadhaar-centre-pushes-for-completion-by-2026\/2325001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">3 years on, 30% of rural land parcels have Bhu-Aadhaar.
