The country&#8217;s <strong>highest peak,<\/strong> the 5,109 m <strong>Margherita Peak,<\/strong> is part of the <strong>Ruwenzori Range.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Inselbergs<\/strong> are a <strong>common geographical feature<\/strong> across Uganda. Meaning &#8220;rock island&#8221; in German, these strange yet stunning <strong>rock structures<\/strong> tower above the savannahs and plateaus throughout the nation.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lake Victoria<\/strong> (Africa\u2019s largest lake and the <strong>world&#8217;s second-largest freshwater lake<\/strong>) forms the southern boundary of the country with Tanzania and Kenya.<\/li>\n<li>Uganda has <strong>eight major rivers:<\/strong> the <strong>Victoria Nile, Achwa, Okok,<\/strong> Pager, <strong>Albert Nile<\/strong>, Kafu, Mpongo, and Katonga.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wildlife<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Uganda has <strong>11% of the world\u2019s birds.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>8% of the world\u2019s mammals<\/strong> can be found here.<\/li>\n<li>It has the <strong>highest concentration of primates<\/strong> than any other country in the world.<\/li>\n<li>It has the <strong>world\u2019s half population of endangered mountain gorillas<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1<\/strong>: What are Inselbergs?<\/h3>\n<p>Inselbergs are isolated hills or mountains that rise abruptly from the surrounding plain, typically formed through the process of erosion.
