Some, like the luna moth or atlas moth, are vividly colored.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Moth antennae are often feathery,<\/strong>\u00a0unlike the thin and clubbed antennae of butterflies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Most moths are active at night, but some are diurnal.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>larvae and adults of most moth species are plant eaters.<\/strong>\u00a0Larvae in particular do considerable damage to ornamental trees and shrubs and to many other plants of economic importance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1<\/strong>: What are diurnal species?<\/h3>\n<p>Diurnal species are organisms that are active during the daytime and rest or are less active during the night.
