text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an initiative of the <\/span><b>Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>performance-oriented stipendiary scheme exclusively for women.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is designed to empower women a<\/span><b>ged 18-70 years, who are Class X pass.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They will receive <\/span><b>specialized training<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and a <\/span><b>stipend for the first three years to promote financial literacy and insurance awareness.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Female agents will get a stipend of <\/span><b>Rs. 7,000 per month for the first year<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Rs. 6,000<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> per month in the <\/span><b>second year<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and R<\/span><b>s. 5,000 per <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">month in the<\/span><b> third year.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bima Sakhis will <\/span><b>also get commissions.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> They will receive a commission of R<\/span><b>s 48,000 (excluding bonus) for the first year.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>After training<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, they<\/span><b> can serve as LIC agents,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the<\/span><b> graduate Bima Sakhis <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">would have the <\/span><b>opportunity to qualify for being considered for Development Officer roles in LIC.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>plan <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is to appoint <\/span><b>two lakh Bima Sakhi over a period of three years.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Bima Sakhi Yojana <\/b><b>Eligibility<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Women <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">must be <\/span><b>aged between<\/b> <b>18 and 70.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The minimum qualification of a woman must be<\/span><b> 10th grade passed.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Preference <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be given to <\/span><b>women residing in rural areas.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>following women are ineligible <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to apply for this scheme:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Women <\/span><b>related to existing agents and employees of LIC.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Relatives include spouses, children, adopted and stepchildren, parents, sisters, brothers, and immediate in-laws.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;
