This makes them highly efficient and less mechanically complex than older systems.<\/li>\n<li>There are <strong>several varieties<\/strong> of these radars operating <strong>in the meter (Voronezh-M), decimeter (Voronezh-DM), or centimeter (Voronezh-CM) wavelength<\/strong> range, as well as a few others that combine several ranges.<\/li>\n<li>The different Voronezh radars <strong>can work in unison as part of an integrated Missile Attack Early Warning System <\/strong>to generate a comprehensive radar picture of potential missile threats and space activity.<\/li>\n<li>These radars are crucial for early warning against ballistic missile threats and are positioned to optimise detection capabilities across various threat vectors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1<\/strong>: What is a Radar?<\/h3>\n<p>The word radar comes from the acronym radio detection and ranging. As the name implies, radars use radio waves to determine the distance and velocity of the targets they hit.
