{"id":28612,"date":"2024-12-10T06:06:49","date_gmt":"2024-12-10T00:36:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=28612"},"modified":"2025-04-08T20:43:23","modified_gmt":"2025-04-08T15:13:23","slug":"amrit-gyaan-kosh-portal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/amrit-gyaan-kosh-portal\/","title":{"rendered":"Amrit Gyaan Kosh Portal"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Amrit Gyaan Kosh Portal:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is jointly developed by the <strong>Capacity Building Commission and Karmayogi Bharat<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It is a platform to promote <strong>self-reliance in governance training <\/strong>and strengthen governance training.<\/li>\n<li>It is developed on the iGOT platform, and serves as a comprehensive repository of best practices in <strong>governance and policy implementation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It aligns with 15 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), covering critical themes such as health, education, agriculture, and digital governance.<\/li>\n<li>The curated resources enable faculty to align their teaching with global standards while addressing India&#8217;s unique administrative challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What is Karmayogi Bharat?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the Mission Karmayogi, a comprehensive Institutional Framework has been designed to deliver the program objectives effectively.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), Karmayogi Bharat<\/strong> forms a key pillar of the institutional framework with an aim to operate the iGOT Karmayogi platform, manage its overall governance and ensure that it meets the objective of anytime, anywhere, any-device learning for civil service officials to enhance their overall competency.<\/li>\n<li>The SPV has been incorporated in the name of Karmayogi Bharat under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 as a 100% Government <strong>owned not for profit Company.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>The organization will be responsible to operate the iGOT Karmayogi platform and any other digital assets pertaining to the Programme.<\/li>\n<li>It will be responsible for owning, managing, maintaining, and improving the digital assets, i.e., iGOT-Karmayogi (Integrated Government online Training) the digital\/e-learning platform, including the IPR of all software, content, process etc. on behalf of Government with an annual subscription-based revenue model.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1: What is Governance?<\/h3>\n<p>It refers to a process of exercise of authority to govern people or regulate public affairs.
