{"id":29100,"date":"2025-01-02T02:22:26","date_gmt":"2025-01-01T20:52:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=29100"},"modified":"2025-04-09T00:30:56","modified_gmt":"2025-04-08T19:00:56","slug":"national-e-governance-awards-scheme-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/national-e-governance-awards-scheme-2\/","title":{"rendered":"National e-Governance Awards Scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About National e-Governance Awards Scheme:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It is recognized amongst the most competitive and <strong>prestigious digital governance awards<\/strong> schemes in the country.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objective:<\/strong> The objective of the Scheme is to <strong>recognize and promote excellence<\/strong> in <strong>implementation of e-Governance initiatives.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The NAeG Awards, 2025 will consist of:\n<ul>\n<li>Trophy, Certificate and an incentive of <strong>Rs 10 lakh for Gold Awardees and Rs 5 Lakhs for Silver Awardees<\/strong> to be awarded to the District\/organization for being utilized for implementation of project\/programme or bridging resources gaps in any area of public welfare.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>This year 16 Awards are being conferred under the NAeG 2025. Of these 10 will be Gold Awards and 6 will be silver Awards.<\/li>\n<li>For the year 2025, there are six categories under which the National Awards for e-Governance 2026 will be conferred. These categories are\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Government Process Re-engineering<\/strong> by use of technology for Digital Transformation<\/li>\n<li>Innovation by <strong>Use of AI and other new age technologies<\/strong> for providing Citizen-Centric Services,<\/li>\n<li>Best e-Gov. Practices\/Innovation in Cyber Security<\/li>\n<li>Grassroot Level Initiatives for Deepening\/ Widening of Service Delivery with focus on initiatives by Districts\/ULBs\/Gram Panchayats<\/li>\n<li>Replication and Scaling up of Successful National Awarded Projects like NAeG, Prime Minister Awards in Excellence, Awards conferred by other Central Ministries by State\/UT\/ District The NAeG 2024<\/li>\n<li>Digital transformation by use of data analytics in digital platforms by Central Ministries\/States\/UTs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nodal Ministry:<\/strong> Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances &amp; Pensions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1: What is Cybersecurity?<\/h3>\n<p>It is the practice of protecting systems, networks, and programs from digital attacks.
