The BrahMos, developed jointly with Russia, is one of the fastest supersonic cruise missiles in the world, capable of reaching speeds of Mach 2.8\u20133.0 with a range of 450\u2013800 km. India is also developing BrahMos-II, a hypersonic missile expected to reach Mach 7.
