Bhargavastra<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is India\u2019s first <\/span><b>indigenous micro-missile system<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> designed to take on the <\/span><b>threat of swarm drones.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was developed by the <\/span><b>Economic Explosives Ltd.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of Bhargavastra<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has a dual-layered<\/span><b> kill mechanism.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It combines unguided <\/span><b>micro-rockets<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with a <\/span><b>lethal radius of 20 metres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>precision-guided micro-missiles <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">capable of intercepting targets up <\/span><b>to 2.5 kilometres away.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It can detect larger UAVs up to a range of <\/span><b>10 km and 6 km for smaller drones.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It uses a combination of radar<\/span><b>, Electro-Optical\/Infrared<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (EO\/IR) sensors and passive radio-frequency (RF) sensors integrated through a Command, Control, <\/span><b>Communication, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) architecture for UAV detection.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is designed to operate <\/span><b>across a diverse set of terrain<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ranging from deserts to snow bound <\/span><b>high<\/b> <b>altitude regions over 5,000 metres.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to kinetic strikes using missiles, the system employs soft-kill techniques such as <\/span><b>electronic jamming, providing a comprehensive layered defence.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is capable of neutralising both <\/span><b>individual drones and coordinated swarms.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is particularly <\/span><b>effective against swarms of autonomous drones<\/b><span
