text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>PRASHAD (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was<\/span><b> launched in the year 2014-2015 under the Ministry of Tourism.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a<\/span><b> Central Sector Scheme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the objective of <\/span><b>integrated development of identified pilgrimage destinations.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The primary objective of the scheme is to <\/span><b>develop tourism infrastructure at pilgrimage and heritage sites<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ensuring a more enriching experience for pilgrims and heritage enthusiasts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the scheme, the ministry provides <\/span><b>financial assistance to state governments and Union Territory administrations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the development of tourism infrastructure at these sites.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Central Government provides 100% funding <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for the <\/span><b>project components undertaken for public funding.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It also<\/span><b> welcomes voluntary contributions made through<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Corporate Social Responsibility <\/span><b>(CSR) AND Public Private Partnership (PPP).\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Ministry of Tourism has set up a Mission Directorate for implementing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the PRASAD scheme.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Mission Directorate<\/span><b> identifies projects in the identified cities and coordinates with the states\/UTs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and other stakeholders to implement this scheme.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;
