Around two-thirds of them live in <strong>Australia.<\/strong> The other third live mostly in <strong>South America.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What is In Vitro Fertilization?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a <strong>medical procedure<\/strong> used to assist individuals or couples who are facing fertility challenges in achieving pregnancy.<\/li>\n<li>It is the most common and effective type of assisted <strong>reproductive technology (ART).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Process of In Vitro Fertilization:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a complex process that involves <strong>retrieving eggs<\/strong> from ovaries and manually combining them with sperm in a lab for fertilization.<\/li>\n<li>Several days after fertilization, the fertilized egg (now called an embryo) is placed inside a uterus.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Pregnancy occurs when this embryo implants itself into the uterine wall.<\/li>\n<li>The procedure can be done using a couple&#8217;s own eggs and sperm.
