{"id":30185,"date":"2025-06-02T16:04:37","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T10:34:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=30185"},"modified":"2025-06-02T17:28:57","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T11:58:57","slug":"naksha-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/naksha-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"NAKSHA Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>NAKSHA Programme Latest News<\/h2>\n<p>The Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, is going to conduct the second phase of capacity-building under the NAKSHA programme from 2nd June 2025, across five Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in the country.<\/p>\n<h2>About NAKSHA Programme<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>NAtional geospatial Knowledge-based land Survey of urban Habitations<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>NAKSHA)\u00a0<\/strong>programme is a city survey initiative under the existing Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).<\/li>\n<li>It is spearheaded by the Department of Land Resources (DoLR), under\u00a0<strong>the Ministry of Rural Development.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Under the new initiative,\u00a0<strong>maps of towns and cities will be prepared<\/strong>. The programme has been launched as a pilot across 152 urban local bodies in 26 states.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The cities selected meet two criteria:<\/strong>\u00a0area less than 35 sq km, and population less than 2 lakhs.
